Dead memories in my heart.

Destroyed cropped sweater: Romwe || Skater Skirt: H&M || Studded boots: Zara

This look is simpler than my usual ones, but perfectly comfortable! Especially when being in school I just cover it up with one of my coats and it still looks good. That cute cropped jumper keeps me SO warm and the shredded/destroyed front makes it different to others. For me a black skater skirt has become one of my essential basics, because it really goes with everything and every time.
The weather randomly matched perfectly to my look = grey clouds, no sun and my grey jumper haha. However, as you can see I'm pretty much obsessing over my dark burgundy lipstick at the moment, it's so amazing haha. :-)

Goodbye 2013, hello 2014! + Instagram Updates

A little sneak-peak for my next outfit post coming very very soon. :-)
2013. There were many beautiful moments, important experiences and great days full of happiness. But there were also moments I'd rather forget, feelings I would love to change or exhausting days and anxiety. I got to know how it feels like to be in love, but I also got to know how it feels to loose that person you love the most immediately after those beautiful feelings and moments I never had before. Repressions, motivations and distractions followed afterwards, but I'm happy to say that I can leave it all behind in 2014. I was inspired by so many beautiful things, landscapes, summer nights, music and characters.
I listened to... pretty much only rock music in general, but also dubstep by Skrillex. Albums like "Sempiternal" by Bring Me The Horizon or "Temper Temper" by Bullet For My Valentine were played very very often and helped me to go through some stuff. Very important songs were "Chaos Lives In Everything" or "Get Up" by Korn, "Soul Desintegration" by Scar The Martyr and my all time favorite bands like Nirvana, Deftones or IAMX, of course. :-)
I watched... TV shows! Many many TV shows. My favorites like 90210 (new version), Pretty Little Liars or Skins UK helped me to forget the stressful days in school or my daily life. I also enjoyed watching "American Horror Story" on TV, amazing horror series! I watched other great horror/splatter movies aswell. Furthermore I fell in love with Disney's "Frozen", it was so magical watching it in 3D at the cinema.
Fashion inspirations... I was inspired by Saint Laurent's AW13/14 fashion show, I loved the whole grunge collection! I also loved the festival summer inspirations at Coachella this year or the outfits of TV show characters like Effy Stonem (Skins UK) or Ivy Sullivan (90210). Oh and not to forget: My favorite inspiration source - Tumblr!
I shopped a lot... online to be honest. Shops like Romwe, ASOS, River Island, Topshop or Urban Outfitters are my all time favorites! When I was in town I usually went to Zara, H&M and Urban Outfitters.

My wishes and plans for 2014
I want to finish school with having great A-Level results! I don't want to go to university, I want to get a job where I can use my passion for fashion. Maybe writing for a fashion magazine, blogging in a professional way or doing some visual merchandising at my favorite stores. I would love to find "the one", I want to enjoy all those beautiful summer nights at the fullest and spending much more time at rock concerts or on festivals. I want to feel alive and meet awesome new people. I would love to travel to London, do some shopping there and enjoying the city and its sights and maybe meeting new people.

And I want to concentrate more on my blog and let you all, my lovely readers, take part in my life. Improving my posts and blogging way more often are my intents in 2014. I want you to show my outfits and I want to inspire you. My blog has become one of the most important things to me in 2013 and at this place I just want to thank all of you! Thank you so much for hyping, commenting or liking my outfits on Lookbook.nu, Facebook, Instagram and here on my blog. Thank you for reading my posts and visiting my page! All your lovely comments and messages have meant so much to me and cheered me up at any time! :-)

Let 2014 begin... xoxo

My lovely christmas holiday moments. I took many selfies! But as you can see my christmas presents under the christmas tree are very glittery and shiny - they are many vintage clothes, Dr. Martens 1460 boots (finally!) and the most beautiful jacket ever: The Unif Sangre velvet biker jacket! I fell in love so hard haha. I'm already looking forward to showing you my new clothes (I already bought a lot in sale haha) in the next outfit posts. And have a look at my "Buddha bank" - isn't he the cutest thing ever??

Riot!

Leopard coat: Zara || Iron Maiden shirt: Urban Outfitters || Necklace: Forever 21 || Mesh/leather leggings: eBay || Lita Spike Boots: Jeffrey Campbell

Leopard coats have always been a topic passionately discussed  by people. I think you love or hate them, it's that simple. To me leopard coats are a wardrobe must-have for all 90s fashion fans and addicts and so am I (btw I'm still remembering the picture with Kurt Cobain wearing such a furry friend and it looked so cool!). That coat is super fluffy and SO cozy! I haven't got any other jacket which keeps me as warm as  this one. When I saw it at Zara I knew we would become some kind of best friends haha. Its design reminds me of the one from the Saint Laurent AW13 fashion show I had seen before which is very classy and I'm sure it will never be out of trend. I don't want the outfit to look "barbie like" or "girly" that's why I picked my favorite band tee (iron maiden shirts got the best prints ever in my opinion) and a leather/mesh leggings I already bought long time ago. Leopard coats always look great with black, rock 'n' roll inspired clothes, you can never go wrong with that combination at all. :-)

Rise and shine.

Velvet dress: Forever 21 || Necklace: Urban Outfitters

This is my outfit for this year's christmas - as you all know velvet clothing is one of the most important essentials in my wardrobe and when I ordered that dress for only 14€ on Forever21.com I fell in looove. I love its dark green color and knitted velvet pattern. I hadn't had a green velvet piece before and this one is perfect for colder days because it's longsleeved, cozy and reminds me of christmas haha. I added fishnet tights, some vintage jewelry and my favorite platform boots and voila - that's totally me.

What are your plans for christmas? I will spend christmas with my family as every year. It's not that special, but I'm looking forward to celebrating anyways. But I have to admit that I'm not really into christmas food, but I like the cookies haha. Last Friday was my last day at school this year and I finally can relax and watch my favorite series, read some magazines and of course - take as many outfit pictures as I can haha. I will definitely show you my christmas presents, many new outfits and a 2013 review - do you like my outfit for christmas? Just let me know and leave a comment. Have a beautiful christmas, loves! xx

Feelings change, memories don't.

Coat: Romwe || Floral Dress: Pins & Needles (bought it at Urban Outfitters) || Necklaces: New Look || Fishnet tights: Zara || Boots: Zara

It's so cold outside and frankly this coat keeps me warm even though I have to wear some layers underneath, but that's ok. I really miss wearing my favorite biker leather jackets in winter, but this coat is a long version of them what makes waiting for spring more bearable. I love its material mixture and it's a great alternative to the quilted jackets everyone is wearing right now (and it doesn't make you look chubbier than you really are haha). When I found that floral dress at Urban Outfitters and on sale I had to buy it - it's perfect and fits to my growing floral dresses collection. I always love wearing fishnet tights together with floral dresses, it's a bit 90s, but I'm addicted to the combination of "sweet" vintage pieces and sexy punky accessories.

Bring back the 90s.

Bomber jacket: OASAP || Cropped mesh shirt: H&M || Velvet skirt: OASAP || Necklace: Vintage || "Darcie" Boots:  Dr. Martens

Well, now it's probably very obvious that winter has already reached Europe and I'm freezing for the first time this season while taking outfit pictures haha. But somehow I recognized that wearing cropped shirts is not more uncomfortable when thinking of temperature than wearing a normal shirt which was very surprising for me haha. As you can see snow had fallen the night before I took the pictures (probably on Christmas it won't snow at all... as usual!), but now the snow is already gone. Anyway, I really love wearing this combination! As my title already reveals it's very 90s and very grungy. I'm obsessing over velvet and mesh, these two materials together and I feel as comfortable as ever haha. When I found this cute bomber jacket together with my grey velvet skirt I knew this would go perfectly together with my mesh cropped shirt. I also love that the grey velvet skirt goes with everything and I haven't seen it as often as the burgundy or black ones. Aaaand I'm so excited for Christmas - why? I'm going to get the awesome Dr. Martens 1460 - FINALLY! I've wanted them for ages, so my "Darcie" boots will get some new twins. :D

In the land of gods and monsters I was an angel.

Tartan boyfriend coat: Pull&Bear || Cut-out dress: Romwe || Boots: Ash

I remember how long I had waited for getting this coat - I saw it on a girl from the Pull&Bear AW13/14 campaign in early August at first and fell immediately in love. Then I visited their homepage every single day in order to look if it's already available and finally it was after a long time haha. It's perfectly cozy and I love its oversized shape! Somehow I'm really picky when I need to buy a winter coat, because they usually look quite similar or aren't "special" enough. This one is definitely totally cool, maybe that's why I've been obsessing over it hehe. The coat makes it also possible to wear cropped tees or cut out dresses and netted tights because of its warm material. In the end my look ended up as a 90s relict what I really like.

The last weekend I spend in town which was full of people doing their christmas purchases and visiting the christmas market. Now the stressful part of the christmas season has started I guess. Frankly I already got the necessary presents for my loves and ordered some stuff online. (But to be honest the online orders were all presents for me and mostly clothes to wear - you'll see them on Christmas haha)
Have you already done your purchases for Xmas? I wish I could enjoy that amazing atmosphere way more, but because I have still so many tests and learning stuff to do, I can't really concentrate on that christmas feeling. 2 weeks more and then I will have made it, fortunately. During the holidays I'm going to update my blog way more often and I have some big plans for the new year 2014 - I'll let you know! xo

In order to be irreplaceable one must always be different.

Sweater: Romwe || Collar: H&M | Destroyed denim shorts: Tally Weijl

I'm wearing the coolest sweater ever. The Chanel "CC" print including Coco Chanel and Karl Lagerfeld has immediately caught my eye when I was clicking through the pages on Romwe.com. I always love wearing collars with sweaters or pullovers and I already forgot about my embellished collar I bought two years ago, but it fits so great to the sweater. :-) Hope you all have a great christmas time, I'm really looking forward 20th when it's the last day of school for this year. Finally!

Lover lover, run run for cover.

Coat: H&M || ACDC crop shirt: Forever 21 || Plaid tartan skirt: Romwe || Studded boots: Zara

Here you can see one of my warmer coats for this winter - I love this tweed boyfriend blazer style coat so much. I already wore it a thousand times, because it's getting really cold and its material keeps me warm enough. Oh and look at my plaid skirt! I love its color combination, it's a more unusual one. I got that ACDC cropped shirt when I was in Munich and went to the new opened Forever 21 for the first time and damn, that store is SO big! There were clothes on 4 giant floors and you couldn't decide where and what you should look at. Then there was this little corner where all single pieces were thrown on some clothes rails and it remembered me on a vintage store haha. There I found that cropped shirt and you all know how much I love band shirts. :D
I was struck down with flu in the middle of the week which wasn't that convenient, because I had so many tests in school - but somehow I could manage to revise them anyway and now I'm enjoying the weekend. I'm going to visit some christmas markets (you know the Christkindlesmarkt in Nuremberg?) and finally watch Disney's "Frozen". Olaf the snowman is such a cutie-pie haha. Hugs and happy cold, cozy and snugly days everyone! xx

Mind's Eye.

Parka jacket: Topshop || Plaid shirt: H&M || Shirt: Truly Madly Deeply || Velvet skirt: Urban Outfitters || Boots: Ash

Basically this look includes all my basic favorites and is one of my comfiest ones. A burgundy velvet skirt I bought on sale at Urban Outfitters one year ago which is probably one of my most worn pieces ever, because it fits to everything and adds that 90s feeling. I'm also a huge fan when it comes to the colors burgundy and army green, these two together is the best color combo, isn't it? While wearing my "La Lune Le Soleil" tee by Truly Madly Deeply I always fell in love with its print all over again and again. Truly Madly Deeply got the coolest print tees ever, they fit to so many styles and are edgy. I think that's why I already got a pretty huge collection of their tees and tanks haha. I'm afraid you only can get their tees at Urban Outfitters in store or online. They are my favorites besides my band shirts and biker tees, I'm kinda picky when buying print shirts haha.
